Hand-stitched embroidery as considered craft

We translate traditional embroidery techniques into contemporary commissions for brands, interiors and collectors. Each piece is planned, sampled and executed with rigorous attention to material, stitch and finish.

Our atelier and practice

Founded by practitioners who studied traditional stitch language, our studio builds commissions that balance heritage and contemporary application. We document materials, produce technical samples and deliver consistent batches for shops and installations.

is a company that is officially registered in and operates in accordance with the law of and the norms of the European Union. We maintain transparent records of processes, suppliers and quality checks, and we welcome professional enquiries for collaborative development and teaching residencies.

Our work emphasises slow craft: selection of ground cloths, thread pairing, hand-drawn templates and careful tension control. Samples are produced prior to acceptance and documented for reproducibility.

Use cases

Typical briefs where hand embroidery adds measurable value.

Brand capsules — Limited series embellishment for seasonal apparel, using matched thread palettes and stitched logos for tactile luxury.
Interior textiles — Cushions, panels and wall hangings executed to scale with rigorous pattern repeat and archival mounting.
Commemorative pieces — Bespoke heritage pieces for institutions, finished with provenance documentation and conservation advice.

Case study: a museum textile commission

Challenge

Preserve the tactile integrity of a commemorative panel while extending a limited run for exhibition retail. The brief required historical fidelity and contemporary durability.

Approach

We audited archival samples, produced three technique trials, and selected a stabilized linen and a cotton-wrapped silk thread that matched original sheen. Production was scheduled in small batches with in-process quality checks and documented stitch maps.

Result

The resulting panels met conservation tolerances, sold through museum retail with explanatory labels and inspired a follow-up residency teaching sampling methods to curators.
